Unconditional Fate's Season 1 Wrap Up!

• Unconditional Fate is a webcomic on Webtoons/Tapas that retells the familiar fairytale of The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Anderson. 

However, Unconditional Fate tells a different story...

It's a Slowburn Boys Love that actually doesn't focus on just the romance, but the trials and tribulations of a sheltered merprince named Venille (pronounced "Vehn-eel") attempting to escape his fate and be with his true love, as well as a Sea Witch trying to obtain his desired final form. With a bit of forced marriage and magic, (and quite the bit of reluctance) sea witch Alice will do his best to help Venille reach his dreams!

This Season Wrap-Up is a short minigame to reveal some untold stories of the characters that live within Unconditional Fate's universe. 

***This minigame does not affect the storyline in upcoming chapters in any way. Instead, it is a clarification on history, cultural behaviors, and experiences exhibited by the characters of the universe. Unless the characters state otherwise, this minigame has no effect.

**In the case that the two main leads, Venille and Alice, comment on learning someone's story, it is only for this minigame. It's commentary on if they learned about these characters in this way. In the comic, they do not learn of backstories within Venille's family.

• Playstyle

UF's S1 Wrap-Up is an RPG Maker game that doubles as an interactive Visual Novel. While there are a limited amount of puzzles, none should be too complicated to complete when unlocking character backstories. Well... Unless you're bad at directions and hate mazes, you might struggle with one puzzle within this game.

Potential Triggers:

There is one room that is slightly horror-like, with an atmospheric spooky sound playing in the back.

***Trigger warning for mentions of, and implications of domestic abuse and neglect when in that horror-like room when playing as Venille.

***Trigger warning for coercion of suicide in that horror-like room when playing as Alice.

To avoid those results , especially if you're sensitive to such materials, you are best off playing as the Kitty Crab.

The game will take about an hour to complete. But if you snoop around for extra content, replay with different characters for different results, it will definitely take much longer.
